The Blood Donation Department is responsible for the entire management of blood units at Papageorgiou Hospital. Our Blood Donation Department has been performing important work for over 20 years, covering the needs of our patients in red blood units and blood derivatives. As an indication, the Blood Donation Department of our Hospital annually provides approximately 10,000 units of red blood cells and 7,000 units of blood derivatives.
