Rules of operation of the Pediatric Surgery Clinic

Visiting Hours

A) Newborns and Infants (up to 6 months of age):
No accompanying persons are allowed. Visits are allowed, only with appropriate clothing for 15 mins per day, to prevent complications and infections.

B) Infants (6 months-3 years):
Visiting hours: 14:00 pm - 18:00 pm
One attendant per child.

C) Children (3-14 years old):
After surgery: Visiting hours 2:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.
Non-operated: Visiting room 16:00 pm -18:00 pm

D) In none of the above cases it is permitted for the companions to stay overnight. It will only be allowed in special or severe cases and for those where hospitalisation is foreseen to exceed 5 days .

E) Weekends and public holidays:
Visiting hours: 11:00 am - 13:00 pm and 16:00 pm - 18:00 pm
(infants >6 months, infants, children up to 14 years).

 

Smoking

According to the law, smoking is prohibited in all areas of the hospital.

Information - Discharge

The information of parents and guardians as well as the discharge procedure will be done by the doctor in duty, every Tuesday and Thursday 11:00am-120:0pm.

Behavior

If the conduct of the caregivers is inappropriate, then, in accordance with the law, a disciplinary discharge will be issued.

Cooperation

The smooth cooperation between parents, medical and nursing staff will be a very important for the proper operation of the Clinic, assisting in the rapid diagnosis, proper treatment and good care of young patients.

Non-acceptance

In case you do not accept the above-mentioned operating regulations of the Clinic, you can refuse admission by signing the relevant declaration.
